Privacy Policy

Klnzr ("we", "our", "us") is operated by the Klnzr team based in Cairo, Egypt. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations.

Data We Collect

  • Account data: phone number, display name.
  • Location data: your service address and approximate device location when searching for nearby suppliers (only while using the app).
  • Booking data: service type, selected supplier, booking history, item photos you upload.
  • Payment data: we do not store card numbers or CVV codes. Card data is handled directly by Paymob (our payment processor); we only receive a transaction reference and status.
  • Communications: in-app support messages between you and our team or a supplier.
  • Usage data: basic app usage logs for debugging and service quality (no advertising profiling).

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data on the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract — processing your booking and connecting you with a supplier.
  • Legitimate interests — app security, fraud prevention, and service quality improvement.
  • Legal obligation — complying with Egyptian law and responding to lawful requests.

How We Use Data

  • Match you with available suppliers in your area.
  • Process, dispatch, and track your bookings.
  • Send OTP codes for phone number verification (via SMS provider).
  • Process payments through Paymob.
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Improve service reliability and quality.

Third-Party Sharing

We share your data only as follows:

  • Suppliers: name, service address, and booking details shared with the specific supplier assigned to your booking.
  • Paymob: payment processor. Card transactions are handled on Paymob's PCI-compliant infrastructure; we receive only a reference and payment status.
  • SMS/OTP provider: your phone number is passed to our SMS provider solely to deliver verification codes.
  • Geocoding provider: approximate location coordinates may be sent to a geocoding API to resolve addresses and find nearby suppliers.
  • We do not sell personal data to any third party.

Cookies & Tracking

Our mobile app does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs. Our website uses session cookies only — these are required for the site to function (e.g., admin login) and do not track you across other websites.

Children

Klnzr is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete the data promptly.

International Transfers

Your data is stored on servers within the EU/EEA region (our hosting provider). Some third-party processors (SMS, geocoding) may process data outside Egypt. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place before any such transfer.

Retention & Security

We retain account and booking data for up to 3 years after your last activity, or as required by Egyptian law. Data is stored encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is limited to authorised personnel. In the event of a data breach we will notify affected users as required by Law 151/2020.

Your Rights

Under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law 151/2020 you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Data portability (receive your data in a structured format).

To exercise these rights, use the in-app account settings or contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days. You can also request account deletion through our account deletion page.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be notified via in-app message. Continued use of Klnzr after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective date: April 22, 2026

Cancellations Before Dispatch

You may cancel a booking at any time before the supplier has started travelling to your location (or before a pickup has been collected). Cancellations made before dispatch qualify for a full refund of the amount paid, including any delivery fee.

Cancellations After Dispatch

Once the supplier is in transit or has collected your items, the booking is considered in progress. Cancellations at this stage are subject to a partial charge to cover the supplier's travel and preparation costs. The refundable amount will be shown in the app when you request a cancellation.

Quality Issues & Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the service — or if an item is damaged during cleaning — please report the issue through the in-app support chat or by contacting us within 48 hours of service completion. Include photos where relevant. We will investigate and work with the supplier to reach a fair resolution, which may include a partial or full refund.

Refund Method & Timeline

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Card payments — refunded within 5–14 business days depending on your bank.
  • Klnzr credit (where applicable) — credited to your account within 1 business day.

Delivery fees are non-refundable once a pickup has been completed.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Service completed to the agreed specification with no reported issues.
  • Customer was unavailable at the agreed time and the booking was marked as a failed attempt.
  • Cancellation requested more than 48 hours after service completion.

Supplier No-Show

If a supplier fails to arrive within the scheduled window without notice, you are entitled to a full refund. Please report the no-show through the app so we can investigate and take action against the supplier.
